We prioritize every climber’s safety

Apply“We had a truly memorable weekend climbing in the Cederberg with Brigitte. She is very experienced, confident, likeable and reliable.
On our last climb she was belaying me. The last section of the climb seemed impossible with few grips on the rock. I was ready to call it a day, but she encouraged me to try and I got to the top with her faith!”

"Brigitte is amazing and emphasises the perfect balance of fun and safety. She keeps information simple, relevant and practical.
When I am high on a wall to be sure to not drop something I now sing Chariots of Fire in my head to be sure to get the gear clipped. Thanks to Brigitte this was a great LOL moment and with an illustration of what it is to be safe and have fun."

Got a question regarding our workshops?
See the frequently asked questions or get in touch with us.
Don’t own any rock climbing gear?
All workshops include personal climbing gear rental. The workshop will talk about gear, providing you with insights on what to buy for your personal climbing kit. Should you have a your personal shoes, harness or full climbing kit, you are welcome to bring it.
What should I bring?
Come with comfortable walking gear such as walking shoes and active wear you are not precious about. Bring water (2 liters recommended), snacks, lunch, sun protection (hat, sunblock of your choice) and a small hiking pack with space for some climbing gear (if you don’t have your personal kit).
What if it rains?
Wet rock is slippery rock, yet given the variety of rock in the western cape it is possible to adjust location which has less or no rain forecasted (1-2 hours drive away). Weather changes are communicated to all participants with adjusted arrangements if required to proceed with the workshop indoors or alternative outdoor locations.
How young can you be?
For safety reasons, the climber needs to be 8 years or older. Climbers age 12 or younger need to be supervised by a parent or guardian.
